Amos Siler, Jr.

Amos Cleon Siler, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 30th, 2024. Born on February 28th, 1952 to Amos and Dollie Siler in Alcoa, Tennessee. Cleon was a graduate of Alcoa High School (1970). Awarded a Football scholarship to ETSU, received a BS in Human Services.

Preceded in death by his Father and Mother, He loved his Family, Church and Community, singing in the choir at his beloved St. John Baptist Church, Alcoa, TN and Bible Study with Rev. Richard Turney, Rest Haven Baptist Church.

Survived by his Beloved Son, Cory Julius (Shaunese); grandson (Emorii Julius); Sisters, Deborah Siler-Young (Larry), Beverly Johnson (Carlyle); Nieces, Amber Holland and Morgan Young; Aunt, Carolyn Hardy and Uncle, Alexander Campbell. Devoted Friends, Gloria Zachary, Herschel White, Loving Cousins Eddie & Spencer Blount, David Siler, the late Lowell Siler’s Family,Perryman Family.  A host of other family and friends too numerous to name.

Family will receive friends from noon – 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 13, 2024 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with service to follow. Interment will follow service at Sherwood Gardens.
