Curtis Lawrence

Curtis Shirley Lawrence (aka Lil Buddy), was born to Essie and Wallace Lawrence
on May 25, 1951, in Maryville, Tennessee. He ended his journey on November 20,
2023 in Knoxville, TN.

Curtis touched many lives with his kind spirit and generous heart. He was a
bright star to everyone who knew him. His smile was as big as his heart. He
attended Church at Water Angels Ministries in Knoxville, TN.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory: brothers Jim Lawrence and Paul
Smith. Sisters Audrey Lawrence (Kevin), Carla Stacy and Janie Wine.
Included in his family circle were special nieces and nephews: Stephanie Hill,
Darla (Doug) Turner, Kamanya Lawrence, DeAndrea Davis, Whitney Lawrence,
Danielle Stacy, Tonya Bolling, JaMisha Green, Thelma Henderson (Jay), Cylee
Smith, Ryan (Annick) Lawrence, Marvin Hill Jr., Anthony (Tenaya) Jones Jr.,
Deon Smith. Childhood friend, Dennis Gaines. A host of great nieces and
nephews and many cousins. Special friend/cousin Kevin Phipps.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, brothers
Marvin and Barry.

Services will be held Friday, November 24, 2023, at The House of God — 160
Badgett Street -- Alcoa. Receiving friends at 1 pm — 1:30 pm — Funeral to follow.
The interment will be at Sherwood Memorial. Final arrangements entrusted to Foothills
