Daniel Leregas George

Daniel LeRegas George was born May 17, 1992 in New York City. He moved to Alcoa, TN at an early age. He was a graduate of Maryville High School. He worked at Fed Ex and Fairpark Nursing Home. Daniel was an avid lover of Martial Arts/Karate and trained in the art since childhood. Daniel had a kind spirit about him. He would help anyone in need. All who knew him spoke highly of him, expressing his good manners, his kindness and how respectable he was. Nothing meant more to Daniel than the love for his family. He will be forever and truly missed.

Daniel departed this life on February 13, 2023. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Alma George and Jannie-Mae Lazenby. He leaves to cherish his memory, parents Mario and Shelia George; sisters, Sha’naha George, Jakaira George; brothers Marcel George, Jordan George; uncles Michael Carlton, Kevin George; aunts Kim (James) Marable, Karla George Davis, Barbara Lazenby, Marie Love, Ouida Briggs; special niece Brooklyn George; special friends since childhood, Trey Thomas and Greg Chambers, host of cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday February 18, 2023 at Foothills Funeral Home, Maryville with funeral service to follow. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Maryville following the service.
