James Roy Dean, Jr.

James Roy Dean, Jr.  79 of Alcoa, Tennessee departed this life September 1, 2024 at Foothills Transitional Care. James accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord at a young age and was a member of Rest Haven Baptist Church in Alcoa.

Born to the late James and Alberta Dean August 21, 1945. He was a graduate of Charles M. Hall High School class of 1964.

James worked for the Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa), Panasonic of Knoxville and as a security guard for AT&T in Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by parents James and Alberta Dean, son James C. Dean of Knoxville, George Arthur (Teddy) Dean and Jonnie M. Dean.

James leaves to cherish his memories son James R Dean III (Eleanor), Yolanda Lollis, Patrick Dean, First Lady Phylicia  (Derrick) Washington, Patricia A. Dean sister/devoted caregiver. , 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children.
