James Kirkpatrick

James “Vance” Kirkpatrick, passed away on Saturday September 17, 2022, at the age of 51. He
was preceded in death by his mother Diana Gale Johnston, and father James Wilburn
Kirkpatrick. He is survived by his son Chance Kirkpatrick (Erika), daughter Jaime Murphy,
mother of his children Cheryl Blankenship, grandchildren Hunter Kirkpatrick, Hazel Murphy,
Caroline Malone, and Hudson Kirkpatrick, sisters Kristy Stone (Jimbo), and Traci Martin
(Jason), niece Diana Stone, nephews Cole Martin, Daniel Stone, and Tyler Martin, and special
friend Paul Martin. Vance was most known for his outstanding sense of humor, and his
determination. Vance could light up the darkest of rooms, and never failed to make you smile.
He will live through us all forever. Visitation will be held Saturday September 24, 2022, from
12pm-2pm with memorial service to follow at Foothills Funeral Home in Maryville.
