Mary K. Williams

Mary Katherine “Miss Pat” Scott Williams, 92, departed this life on January 14, 2024 at Fairpark Nursing Home. She was born in Pickens County, Georgia on February 6, 1931. She was a 1947 graduate of Pickens County Training School where she finished Valedictorian in her class. She accepted Jesus Christ at a very young age. She was a very devoted and faithful member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, until her health failed, and she could no longer attend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mymie Scott andEdward H. Knox; husband, Sherman Williams Sr.

She is survived by her loving children: Katherine Michele Deloach, Sharon D. Williams, Sherman (Sophia) Williams, Jr.,Edward Williams, Terri Kellogg, Teresa Seard, all of Alcoa, TN and Byran (Inga) Robinson, San Diego, CA; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grand children; two bonus sons, Kevin Adkins and James Cox; and loving friends - the Burnett,Francis and Mary Ann Wilson families.

The Memorial service has been postponed due to inclement weather and rescheduled for Saturday January 27, 2024 at St. John Baptist Church. Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. with service to follow.
