Melinda Bryant

Melinda Diane Baker Bryant Born June 11, 1976, passed away Sunday July 24 th , 2022, at Mayo Hospital in Jacksonville FL, after a sixteen-month battle with Leukemia. She was preceded in death by mother, Gloria Diane Gibson, father, Bennett Edward Baker, sister, Tonya Renee French, and nephew, David Creed Brooks. She left behind three sons, Christopher Dalton McDaniel, Dylan Ray McDaniel, and Isaiah Kaden Bryant; brothers, Kenneth Edward Baker and Michael James Baker; their wives, Kathy Baker and Tina Baker; Stepfather, Bobby Gibson; nephews, Kenneth Wade Baker and Michael Kalueb Baker; nieces, Jordan Lashea Lanagan, Ashlie Torrescano and Kayli Collins; as well as Logan Brooks and Hunter McCarter who she also saw as her children.

Family will receive friends at Foothills Funeral Home from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Friday July 29, 2022 , with funeral service to follow. Interment will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Morganton Cemetery . Final arrangements entrusted to Foothills Funeral Home. www. foothillsfh.com
