Robin Monroe

Robin Monroe 62 of Alcoa, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 9, 2024. She was born June 1, 1961 in New Kensington, PA to Harry and Evelyn (Mason) Manley. Robin was a graduate Burrell High School and Strayer University. Robins career was established when she started working for ALCOA Corp. at just 18 years old as a secretary and finishing her career as the Division head of Human Resources. Robin was a faithful member of Mother Love Missionary Baptist Church of Louisville, where she wore many hats, including Trustee, Secretary, Chair of the Planning Committee, just to name a few of her responsibilities within the church. She was also an avid Steelers fan. Robin had a soft spot for people and tried to help anyone that she could. She was the glue that kept her family together. Although she had numerous illnesses throughout her lifetime, she never once complained, and always said “I’m ok” when asked how she was doing.

She leaves to cherish her memory, sons Duane (LaToya) Monroe and Andrew (Sarah) Monroe, grandchildren Leilani, Alana, Masina, and Jayden, sister Cathy (Tony), brothers Buddy (Candy), Craig (Carmen), Uncle Robert, sister-in-law Carol Monroe, numerous cousins, family and friends.

The funeral service has been postponed, interment scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Thursday January 18, 2024 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Final arrangements entrusted to Foothills Funeral Home. www.foothillsfh.com
