Ronald Alton Henderson

Ronald (Ronny) Alton Henderson 63, of Knoxville TN, after a long battle with cancer and dementia, Ronny received God’s Gift of Healing and joined members of his family and His Lord in Heaven on Monday, January 31 st , at 5:30 am.

A family man, Ronny was a rock and provider for his wife, and he showered his family with love, discipline, and fun that ended up being a perfect recipe for the legacy that he has left here below.

Ronny is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Pat Henderson, brother Thomas (Tommy)Henderson, and son, Bradley Henderson.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon Henderson, Children, Stephanie, Shannon, Misty, and Steven. Grandkids, Tyler, Jordan, Austin, A.J., Sissy, Lilly, Logan, Cole, Cooper, and Katie.  5 Great- Grandchildren; Sister and Brother-in-Law- Susan and Mark Moser, Nephews: Christian, David, and Michael…along with a “slew” of other family members and friends that loved him and will always remember his smile and that he was always the “cut-up” jokester in our big brood.

We want to send a special thank you to the staff of Fairpark Health and Rehab in Maryville for the care and love they gave Ronny over the last several months. It is appreciated more than words can ever say.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 4 th , from 5-7pm with service immediately following at Foothills Funeral Home, 910 E. Lincoln Road, Maryville TN 37804. Pastor Terry Clabough officiating.

Burial will be Saturday, February 5 th , at 1 pm at the Wilder Cemetery located on Amerine Road in Maryville.
