Roy Scott

Roy H. Scott passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, surrounded by loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Carson Scott and Mayola Wright Scott, his brother, James (Bubba) Scott and niece, Sharon (Missy) Cobb.

Roy leaves to cherish his memory, beloved wife, Connie of 56 years; son, Rodney (Penny) Scott; sisters, Mary Scott and Harriet Allen; sister-in-law, Shirley Scott Gaye; brother-in-law, Pat Jemison; nephews, Randall Cobb, Michael Cobb, Kevin Jackson, Joel Scott, Troy Jemison; nieces, Stephanie Lemmons, Deborah Bowman, Lisa Smith, Sherry Coppedge; great nieces, Melysha Gist, Naiga Cobb, Randi Cobb, Erica Bowman; great nephews, Randall Cobb, Jr., Rodney Smith, Thomas Smith; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church, Maryville.

Receiving of friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Funeral to follow at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Sherwood Memorial Garden
