Stanley Stubelt

Stanley Blaire Stubelt , 76 years old born in Benton Harbor, MI on October 29, 1946, went to be with the
Lord on January 14, 2023 peacefully.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Hattie Stubelt and wife Sharon Stubelt of almost 50
years.
He is survived by daughter Heidi Groover and grandson Michael Groover, brother Dennis (Liz) Stubelt,
Gary (Roberta) Stubelt, and Sharon also known as Tooie (Al) Felker. Stan attended Shepherd of the Hills
Lutheran Church in Knoxville for 40 plus years. He drove a special needs school bus for many years. He
enjoyed wood working and telling others about Jesus. He will be greatly missed by so many.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Foothills Funeral Home on Sunday January 22,
2023 with funeral service to follow. Interment will be at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Knoxville at
10:00 a.m. on January 23, 2023. Processional will assemble at 9:00 a.m. at Foothills Funeral Home.
