Stella Henry

Stella Mae Patrick Henry - was born May 25 1948, to the parents, Lonnie and Corrine Patrick. She grew up in Maryville, Tennessee on the Creek, and came to Rockford at an early age. She worked as a CNA for many years caring for others, which she loved. Stella had a heart of “Gold” and a spirit of “Fire”. 

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Corrine Cobb Patrick; Husband; Willie Henry (BullDog), Brother; Lonnie Patrick Jr. (Bubba); Granddaughter; Tanisha L. Henry, Sister; Sarah Patrick Johnson, Daughter; Lila Henry Strickland, Son; Lonnie McMahan, Son-in-law; David Whitehead, Nephew; Reginald Johnson, Cousin; Bo Patrick, Niece; Mary Patrick (Squirt). (4) brother-in-laws; (3) sister-in-laws; (3) nieces; (2) nephews. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: Son, Eric Henry Sr. and Devoted Daughter-in-law Renee Henry; Daughter, Amanda Henry Whitehead; son, Jamie Henry; sister, Mary Ann Patrick; grandchildren, Eric Henry Jr., Stevisha and Willisha Strickland, Rashaad Henry, Maurice Henry, Devin McMahan, Jonivan Henry, Mandisha Henry, Ivonna Henry, Brennon Henry, Makayla Henry, Dakota Henry, Alexandria Henry, several great grandchildren, (2) great-great grandchildren. Along with a host of other friends and relatives including devoted nieces: Antonio “Toni” Patrick, Pamela Patrick, Angie Johnson and devoted Cousins; Pamela Carter and Kristi Thomas. 

The family will have a balloon release starting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday March 8, 2025 at Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church.
