Thelma Henry Jones - Matthew 25:23... "Well done, good and faithful servant...
enter thou into the joy of the Lord." On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Thelma
gained her wings and now rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Thelma Henry Jones was born on September 12, 1929, to proud parents,
James and Lila Henry. She grew up in the Rockford, Tennessee community and
attended Booker T. Washington Elementary School, Rockford; and attended Hale High School, Maryville, Tennessee. She was employed by the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) at Scona Lodge.

She was a member of Robinson Chapel Presbyterian Church, Alcoa, TN, and a lifetime
member of Mt. Pleasant African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Rockford. She
was a pillar of the Rockford as well as the Alcoa communities. Thelma was
proceeded in death by her parents, James and Lila Henry; husband, Herbert Jones;
sisters, Sarah Henry Wilson and Shirley Henry Barton; brothers, Joseph (Spuggy),
Carl, Willie (Bulldog), and James (Toby) Henry.

She leaves to cherish her memory
loving daughters Cynthia Jones, Paulette Pace, sons Herbert (Pete) Jones, Jamie Henry, brother Robert (Carroll)
Henry; sister-in-law, Stella Henry; devoted cousins Ethel Henry Avery and Nanette
Henry Scruggs; adopted nephew Attorney Michael Meares and a host of loving
nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

Viewing and visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon until 1:00 pm; a celebration of life at 1:00 pm. on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Foothills Funeral Home. Rev. Norman Jefferson, Eulogist. www.foothillsfh.com
