Willie Brown

Willie E. Pride Brown was born to Inez and Malcom Pride on June 2, 1939. Willie was known for her good cooking and tending her flowers. She could often be seen sitting on her porch reading the bible. She departed this life on June 29, 2023, on her mother’s birthday.

She was preceded in death by parents Malcolm and Inez Pride, brother Alvin Pride, sister Mildred Pride, granddaughters Danielle and Brittany Pride.

She leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Danita Howard, sons Curtis Pride, Robert (June) Brown, Gary (Delise) Brown, brothers Malcom (Bernice) Pride, Charles (Margaret) Pride, devoted grandchildren, Lacrisha and Aanissa Pride, Vincent Brown, grands, great grands, cousins and friends in the community.

Memorial service will be held Friday July 7, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Alcoa.
