Yolanda Denise Smotherman

Yolonda Denise Cotner Smotherman, affectionately known as “Necie,” graduated from earth to her Heavenly Home on Saturday April 13, 2019 at Blount Memorial Hospital.

Necie was a very active member at St. Peter Primitive Baptist Church in Alcoa, TN before her health began to decline. She was known for her beautiful voice along with her beautiful spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Smotherman, parents; George and Shirley Cotner, father, Ray Yeary.

Necie is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Smotherman (James Hargrove), sisters; Sheila Yeary, Jolie Yeary Martinez, Rae Yeary Leap and Teresa Yeary, all of Pottstown, PA, a host of extended family and many, many friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday April 20, 2019 at Foothills Funeral Home, Maryville. WWW.foothillsfh.com
